Petcoke is an oil by-product, derived from the petroleum refining process. Following the petroleum refining process, petcoke is often categorized into either “Green petcoke” or “Calcined petcoke”. Both play important roles in today’s modern day society as green petcoke is used as a type of fuel in power generation while Calcined petcoke reaches both the agricultural (i.e., feedstock and fertilizer) and commercial sectors (i.e., aluminum manufacturing, steel, fertilizer, paper, paint, brick and glass etc.)
